Abigail Tova Leonard, 62, of Gardner, died unexpectedly, Thursday, May 21, 2020, in her residence.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, on June 25, 1957, she was the daughter of Augustus and Betty (Greenfield) Leonard. She was a graduate of Leominster High School with the Class of 1975 and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston University in 1979. In 1986, she received her EMT Certification from Northeastern University, and in 1993, received her Masters in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston. At the time of her death, Abigail was a nurse employed by Merrimack Valley Hospice of Merrimack, MA, for several years.
Abigail was a congregant of the Congregation of Agudat Achim of Leominster. She enjoyed knitting and working on puzzles. She was a conversationalist and was always willing to have a good conversation with anyone. But most importantly, she took great pride in her job and loved her career.
Abigail is survived by her son Ethan Leonard, and his fiancé Emily Inzerillo of Gardner; two brothers Jonathan Leonard of California and Seth Leonard of Nashua, NH.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
