Zenobie (Noel) Duguay, 93, of Baldwinville, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, March 20, 2023, in Alliance Health at Baldwinville Nursing Home.

Born in Lameque, New Brunswick, Canada, on March 15, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Elzear and Eugenie (Savoie) Noel. Zenobie was a Housekeeper and Cook employed by St. Vincent de Paul Church of Baldwinville for 8-years prior to her retirement. She was previously employed by Eastwood Pines Nursing Home of Gardner for several years.

Zenobie was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, where she practiced at its Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She was a member of the Gardner Senior Center. She enjoyed playing cards, BINGO, Keno, and computer games, as well as going out to lunch with friends. She loved spending the summers in Canada with all of her brothers and sisters. Zenobie’s family was her life, especially her grandchildren, where she treasured all the special moments spent together.

Zenobie is survived by two daughters, Rita V. Cyr and her husband Michael of Canandaigua, NY, and Rachel A. Johnson and her husband Thomas of Templeton; a son-in-law, David Blake of Gardner; six grandchildren, Vanessa Klash and her husband Tyler, Corinne Blake and her husband John Farley, and Andrea Blake, Kendall Cyr and her significant other Jon, Natalie and Noah Johnson; two great-grandchildren with one on the way, Addison and Cameron Klash and Julia Farley-Blake; four sisters, Octavie Larocque of Shippagan, NB, Canada, Rose Alma Chiasson and her husband Raymond of Shippagan, NB, Canada, Edna Guzzie and her husband Antoine of Montreal, QC, Canada, and Dorilda Chiasson and her husband Yvon of Lameque, NB, Canada; three brothers, Eymard Noel and his significant other Carmen of Tracadie, NB, Canada, Medard Noel and his wife Marie-Jeanne of Lameque, NB, Canada, Ligouri Noel of Montreal, QC, Canada, two sisters-in-law, Claire Noel of Lameque, NB, Canada, and Bernadette Noel of Drummondville, QC, Canada; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 49-years, Leonard Duguay; a daughter, Lisa D. Blake; a sister Gabrielle Noel; four brothers, Bernard, Irene, Claude, and Rosario Noel; a sister-in-law, Helene Noel; and a brother-in-law, Alexander Laroque.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, will be held at a later date.

Calling Hours will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
