Yvette T Hajdukiewicz

Yvette T. (Allain) Hajdukiewicz, 94, of Meredith, NH, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, November 29, 2018 in Lakes Regional General Hospital of Laconia, NH. 

Yvette was born in Gardner on June 11, 1924, the daughter of the late Cyrille and Severine (Nowlan) Allain.

She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1943, and attended Henry Heywood School of Nursing of Gardner. After graduating in 1946, Yvette spent the next 38 years as a Nurse for Heywood Hospital, retiring in 1984. She was also a member of the Heywood Hospital Alumni Association.

Yvette was a member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister for many years.

She loved crafts and reading, and she treasured spending time with her family.

Yvette was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Stanley C. Hajdukiewicz, who died in 1999.

She leaves two daughters, Linda M. LaJoie and her husband Steven of Savannah, GA, and Lisa S. Brown and her husband Dennis of Meredith, NH; two grandchildren, John Lamoureux and his wife Jennifer of Fairfield, CT, and Sarah Aucoin and her husband Rick of Middleton, NH; four great-grandchildren, Zachary and Nicholas Aucoin, and Mason and Lucy Lamoureux; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 4th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Gardner.

A calling hour will be held Tuesday, December 4th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
