Veronica J. Fournier

Veronica J. Fournier, 96, of Baldwinville, died peacefully, Wednesday, April 1, 2020, in Alliance Health at Baldwinville Nursing Home, after a long illness.

Born in Otter River on May 2, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Tadeus and Julia (Lahac) Piascik. She attended Templeton High School. She was an assembler employed by the former Heywood-Wakefield Company for several years until retiring in 1989. She previously worked for several other area furniture factories.

Veronica was a book worm who enjoyed reading anything she could get her hands on. She loved to work in her gardens. But the biggest part of her life and the time that she cherished the most was time spent with her family.

Veronica is survived by three daughters, Susan L. Taylor and her husband Donald of Templeton, Judith A. Mulqueen and her husband Jeffrey of Banning, CA, and Paula J. Arsenault and her husband Kevin of Gardner: two sons, Kenneth A. Fournier of Gardner, and Mark R. Fournier and his wife Tina of Stapleton, GA; nine grandchildren, Scott Taylor and his wife Leaugeay, Jennifer Barnes, Ryan Mulqueen and his wife Sarah, Kyle and Sean Mulqueen, Nathan and Daniel Arsenault, Alicia Alaire and her husband Wade, and Alan Fournier; two great-grandchildren, A.J. Watson and Mia Mulqueen; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 44-years, Albert R. Fournier, who died in 1989; four sisters, Maryanna Howard, Alice White, Stella Koldys, and Sophie Piascik; two brothers, Chester and Raymon Piascik.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
