Thomas W. Dabuliewicz

Thomas “Tom” W. Dabuliewicz, 74, of Gardner died Friday, December 14, 2018 in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a long illness with his family by his side.

                Born in Gardner on May 10, 1944, he was the son of the late Walter and Antoinette (LeBlanc) Dabuliewicz.

                Tom was a graduate of Leominster High School with the Class of 1963. He was the Owner and Operator of Kays Dairy Bar for 27 years until his retirement in 2004. Prior to owning Kays Dairy Bar, he worked for General Electric in Fitchburg as an inspector for 11 years. 

                Tom loved cooking, going to the movies, gardening, fishing, motorcycling, snowmobiling, vacationing and doing woodworking projects. His greatest joy were his family and his pets. He was always known as a thoughtful, kind and generous person who was always whistling.

                He leaves his wife of 34 years Paula M. (Griczika) Dabuliewicz of Gardner; one daughter Michelle L. Kelley and her husband Jason of Royalston; one sister Shirley Chatigney of Fitchburg; two grandchildren Amber Augusto and Brandon Augusto; three great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

                Funeral Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

                Memorial Contributions may be made to Gardner Animal Control Facility, c/o Board of Health, 95 Pleasant Street, Room 29, Gardner, MA, 01440. Please make checks payable to the City of Gardner Shelter Fund.
