Teresa Theriault

Teresa Theriault, 95, of Baldwinville, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Monday, September 11, 2023, at Alliance Health at Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, surrounded by her family, and her nurse Anne, after a period of declining health.

 
Born in Burtonwood, England on May 04, 1928, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Kelly) Cawley. Teresa worked on the American Burtonwood Airforce Base in Burtonwood, where she met her husband. She was the co-owner of Town Package and Variety, in South Ashburnham. 

Teresa was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Gardner. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Teresa was a very social person. She loved to organize a good party for holidays, especially for St. Patrick’s Day. Teresa loved life and lived it to the fullest.  

Teresa is survived by her two daughters, Mary R. Tourigny, and her husband David of East Templeton, and Cathy A. Arsenault, and her husband Daniel of Cary, NC; four grandchildren, Julie Tourigny, and her husband David Haupt of Steamboat Springs, CO, Peter Tourigny of Westminster, Jennifer Young and her husband Tim of Winston-Salem, NC, and Andrea Arsenault of Knightdale, NC; ten great-grandchildren, Ian, Theodore, Josephine, Bradley, Ana-Logan, Wesley, Leland, Georgia, Ellie, Clara; two sisters-in-law Rita Thibeault of Gardner, and Ruth Theriault of Baldwinville; several nieces, nephews. 

She is predeceased by her husband Louis Theriault, who passed October 19, 1989; ten loved siblings, and many treasured friends and relatives. 

Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.

A Calling Hour will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
