Shawn T. Rich, 42, of Gardner, died unexpectedly on May 26, 2017.
Born in Gardner on April 21, 1975, he was the son of Sandy L. (Wickman) Rich and the late Timothy Rich.
Shawn attended Gardner High School and received his GED.
He was employed at the Gardner Timpany Boulevard Shell Station until recently. Shawn was a member of the Deep Sea Club of Gardner.
Shawn loved sports, especially the Miami Dolphins, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and Boston Celtics. He was an avid pool, dart, and card player. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. Shawn was a jokester and loved to make people laugh, even at his own expense. He loved everything that this world offered to him, especially his children, as they meant the world to him.
Besides his mother he leaves, two sons Tyler J. Rich of Baldwinville, and Jayden T. Rich of Winchendon; one daughter Victoria R. Rich of Winchendon; one sister Bonnie L. Jones of Gardner; his former spouse Kristen Rich of Gardner, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, including a nephew Chase K. Jones and a niece Kahlan Y. Jones.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 12:00pm at the Acadien Social Club, 193 Parker Street, Gardner, MA, 01440.
