Scott R. Alexander

Scott R. Alexander, 62, of Westminster, died peacefully Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, surrounded by his family.

Born in Ayer on August 29, 1962, he was the son of Margaret "Peg" Alexander of Ayer and the late Earl Alexander. He graduated from Ayer High School with the Class of 1980 and went on to run his own business and then become a construction project manager.

Scott lived a very active lifestyle. He enjoyed going for hikes and working out. Scott loved to be out on the golf course and was known for his golfing ability. He also enjoyed watching various sports, including ice hockey, baseball, and basketball. Scott's greatest love and treasure was his family, especially his two girls, treasuring all the memories and countless laughs made throughout the years.

Scott is survived by his two daughters, Jordan Alexander of Boston and Brooke Alexander of Denver, CO; partner, Marci Newell of Westminster, a brother, Lee Alexander and his wife Krynn Knepfel of Wisconsin; nieces and nephews, Kaitlin Robichaud and her husband Russell of Hubbardston and Matthew Mann of Hubbardston; father-in-law, Paul E. Mann Jr. of Hubbardston; brother-in-law Peter Mann and his wife Julie of Gardner; several cousins and many friends.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by his loving wife of 17 years, Deborah A. (Mann) Alexander, who died in 2003; and mother-in-law, Yvonne M. (Boudreau) Mann.

Calling Hours will be held Friday, May 2, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
