Rosemarie Anne Poirier

RoseMarie Anne "Rose" (Faucher) Poirier, 59, of 213 Pine St., Gardner, died Thursday, April 9th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, Gardner, following a long illness.
Born in Tewksbury on February 26, 1950, she was the daughter of Robert and Theresa (Faucher) Benoit.
She was a cashier employed at Stop N' Shop of Gardner for several years until retiring in 2000.
RoseMarie attended Gardner High School and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed visiting Disneyworld and spent much of her leisure time knitting.
Her husband of 22 years, Hector Poirier, died in 1990.
She leaves 2 sons, Michael J. Poirier and his wife AnneMarie Donahue, Marc R. Poirier all of Gardner; 2 brothers, Richard J. Benoit of Everett, Louis R. Benoit of Groton; 3 sisters, Anita Connor and her husband Mark of North Carolina, Cynthia Benoit of Port Huron, MI, Wendy Connor and her husband Dennis of Florida; 1 granddaughter, Jessica Poirier of Royalston; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her companion, Frank E. Brown Jr. of Gardner.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial in St. John's Cemetery will be at a later date.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, April 14th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
