Ronald Joseph Smith, 74, of Winchendon, died peacefully Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after an illness.
Born in Brookline on June 26, 1948, he was the son of the late Bernard J. and Marjorie E. (Parsons) Smith. He was a United States Army Vietnam War Veteran serving from 1968 to 1970, where he received the National Defense Service Medal.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA.
Memorial Contributions may be made to a veteran’s charity of the donor’s choice. Please reference in memory of Ronald Joseph Smith.
