Romeo J. LeBlanc, 76, of Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in his residence after an illness with his family by his side.
Born in St. Antoine, New Brunswick, Canada, on August 20, 1945, he was the son of the late Hector and Laura (Goguen) LeBlanc. He was a Machine Operator employed by ITT Surprenant of Clinton for 43-years until his retirement in 2004.
Romeo loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing and going camping. He was an avid sports fan where he always rooted for his New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins. Romeo’s greatest joy was his family, always treasuring the special moments and time spent with them.
Romeo is survived by his wife of 53-years, Florence (Maillet) LeBlanc of Gardner; two daughters, Rose-Mae Adam and her husband Shawn of Orange and Kim LeBlanc of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Saleena Hoey and her husband Justin and Laura LeBlanc; a great-grandchild, Sylvee Hoey; two brothers, Donald LeBlanc and his wife Beatrice of Gardner and Raymond LeBlanc of Pennsylvania; a sister, Rita Maillet of Gardner; four in-laws, Blanch LeBlanc of Natick, Gloria LeBlanc of Vancouver, BC, Canada, Nicole LeBlanc of Moncton, NB, Canada, and Gerard Landry of Bouctouche, NB, Canada; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by seven brothers, Jim, Alcide, Gerald, Normand, Leo, Henrie, and Charlie LeBlanc; and five sisters, Laurina Tatcher, Doris Richard, Maggie LeBlanc, Thelma Williams, and Edesse Landry.
Graveside Services will be announced and held at a later date.
