Roland H. Hollenbeck, 90, of Westminster, died peacefully surrounded by those he loved, Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Fitchburg Healthcare, after a period of declining health.
Born in Cortland, NY, he was the son of the late Marjorie Clara Hollenbeck. He was a self employed injection mold designer for many years and also worked as a consultant for Wilderness Mold until his retirement. He was a sergeant in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War.
Roland was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church of Westminster. He loved the outdoors and working on his land, raising farm animals and growing fruits and vegetables. Roland also enjoyed going out shooting, hunting and fishing - he was a true outdoorsman. Above all, he loved his family and his wife Gloria, who he was married to for 70 plus years. Their love story was like one you read about in books and he was by her side every minute of every day.
Roland is survived by his wife Gloria (Plante) Hollenbeck of Westminster; four sons, Joseph Hollenbeck and his wife Denae of Ashburnham, John Hollenbeck and his wife Christine of Florida, James Hollenbeck of Ashburnham, Jeff Hollenbeck and his wife Lisa of Arizona; two daughters, Michele St. Cyr and her husband Sibby of Ashburnham, and Marie Hollenbeck and her husband Raymond Canney of Phillipston; twenty-one grandchildren, Carly Ricard and her husband Floyd, Nicholas St. Cyr and his wife Kate, Michael St. Cyr, Jacob Hollenbeck and his wife Jessica; Jeremy, Justin, Amanda, Jonathan, and Joseph Hollenbeck, Eli, Benjamin, and Josiah Burton, Joseph Hollenbeck Jr and his fiancé Mya Leslie, Luna Mendez and her husband Byron, Kati, Joanna and Jorgia Hollenbeck, Jessica Clifton and her husband Tyler, Rebekah, Joshua and Hannah Hollenbeck; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a son, Thomas Hollenbeck; and a grandson, Roland James Hollenbeck.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 10 Church Street, Westminster, MA. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery, Narrows Road, Westminster, MA.
