Robert T. Trainque, 75, of Baldwinville, died peacefully Monday, December 12, 2022, in Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT, after an illness.
Born in Fitchburg on February 27, 1947, he was the son of the late Willie and Marie (Ledoux) Trainque. He graduated from St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School with the Class of 1964 and from Worcester Technical with a Certificate in Drafting. Bob was the Owner and Operator of Heritage Truck and Transit for over 30-years prior to his retirement.
Bob was the former President of the School Transportation Association of Massachusetts (STAM) and was a volunteer firefighter for the Town of Templeton for 25-years. He enjoyed being outdoors, playing golf, and fishing. Bob also enjoyed going for long drives around the area and was an avid fan of his New England Patriots. His greatest joy was his family, treasuring every special moment spent together.
Bob is survived by his wife of 53-years, Donna M. (Daneault) Trainque of Baldwinville; two sons, William Trainque and his wife Sherry of Rutland, and Thomas Trainque and his wife Denise of Leominster; a daughter, Kelly Agnelli and her husband Anthony of Gardner; seven grandchildren, Douglas Mallet, April Agnelli, Anthony Agnelli Jr., Ryan, Connor, Aaron, and Kylie Trainque; a brother, Raymond Trainque and his wife Rita of Leominster; two sisters, Carol and Diane Trainque, both of Fitchburg; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.
A Calling Hour will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
