Robert "Bob" L. Pellett, 58, of 54 Banner Road, Gardner died Thursday in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, following an illness.
Born in Gardner on May 25, 1945, he was the son of Ralph L. and Rachel L. (Bennett) Pellett.
He was a machine operator employed by SONOCO of Devens for 3 years. He was previously employed by Van Huffel Co. of Gardner for 19 years.
He was a 1965 graduate of Gardner High School.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Church.
Mr. Pellett was an avid sports fan and enjoyed gardening. He loved his grandchildren.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Diane S. (Ducharme) Pellett of Gardner; 3 daughters, Karen J. Pellett-Charland wife of Gregory Charland of Hubbardston, Lynn M. Wilson wife of Adam Wilson, and Tina L. Bettez wife of Mark Bettez both of Gardner; 1 sister, Brenda L. Crumb of E. Templeton; 5 grandchildren, Logan K. Wilson, Zachary J. Charland, Tyler J. Charland, Dylan J. Charland and Olivia L. Charland; several aunts, uncles, 1 niece, 2 nephews and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell St., Gardner.
Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
