Rita F. (Beauregard) Sentabar, 94, of Gardner, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in her home.
Born in Suncook, New Hampshire, on January 15, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Raoul G. and Dora (Lefebvre) Beauregard. Rita was employed as an assembler at Modern Contract of Gardner for eight years until her retirement. She was previously employed by the George B. Bent Company and Rousseau Brothers.
Rita was a devoted parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner. She enjoyed keeping active through arts and crafts, where she especially excelled at creating Christmas decorations and making rosaries. Rita also had a love for bowling and proudly won The Gardner News Bowling Tournament three consecutive years. Above all, she cherished her family, treasuring the time spent together and the many memories they shared.
Rita is survived by her two sisters, Doris Couture of Gardner and Anita Hanks of Gardner, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Edward J. Sentabar, who died in 2004; a sister, Irene Ackerman; a brother, Donald Beauregard; and her longtime companion, Leonard Couture.
A Calling Hour will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Funeral Services will follow from the funeral home with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
