Rita B. McKellick

Rita B. (Rouleau) McKellick, 84, of Winchendon, died peacefully Friday, August 12, 2022, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

Born in Gardner on December 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Hermance (Houde) Rouleau. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1957. Rita was a Processing Clerk employed by the Medical Records Department at Heywood Hospital of Gardner for 27-years prior to her retirement in 2001. She was previously employed by Vezina Insurance of Gardner.

Rita was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She loved to play computer games her favorite being Solitaire. Rita’s greatest joy was her family, treasuring all the special moments they had together.

Rita is survived by her son, Michael S. McKellick and his wife Lynne of Winchendon; two daughters, Patricia A. McKellick and her husband William of Hull and Barbara J. McKellick of Gardner; two granddaughters, Katie and Sarah and her husband Zachary; a brother, Joseph Rouleau of Winchendon; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband 44-years, Leo E. McKellick; a sister, Jeanne Cloutier; and two brothers, Rev. Maurice Rouleau, S.S.S, and Roland Rouleau.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.

A Calling Hour will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
