Richard Hackett

Richard Hackett, 86, of Hubbardston, died unexpectedly on Monday, May 12, 2025, in his home.

Born in Gardner on March 24, 1939, he was the son of the late Charles and Edith (Kelley) Hackett. After receiving his associate's degree in artistry, Richard worked at Cumberland Farms as a store clerk for many years.

Richard was a member of the Hubbardston Senior Center. He loved to share his artistic talents with the community. His paintings, a reflection of his vibrant spirit, continue to inspire many. Richard's greatest love and joy was his family and friends, treasuring the time with them.

Richard is survived by his three nieces, Barbara L. Martioski of Ashby, Phyllis Goodwin of Georgia, and Lisa Benoit of Wisconsin; and several cousins.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Charles Hackett and Barbara E. Martioski.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
