Reneesme Nessie Malave, 7, of Gardner, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Boston Children's Hospital, after becoming suddenly ill at home.

Born in Worcester on February 14, 2018, she was the beloved daughter of Ismael Malave and Joanne A. (Molina) Sepulveda, both of Gardner.

At the time of her passing, Reneesme was a student at Hubbardston Center School.

Reneesme brought joy to those around her with her bright smile and gentle spirit. She loved listening to music and dancing, playing with her friends, and watching her favorite television shows. Although her life was far too short, her family will forever cherish the memories they shared with her - the smiles, laughter, hugs, and love she gave so freely each day. She will always be lovingly remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, Reneesme is survived by her sister, Emma Malave of Gardner; her maternal and paternal grandparents; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her mother's partner, Christopher Quiñones Ortiz of Gardner.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
