Obituary

Randall J. Courtemanche, 78, of Templeton, died peacefully Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in Life Care Center of Leominster, after a period of declining health.

Born in Winchendon on June 30, 1947, he was the son of the late Barney and Ruth (Haynes) Courtemanche. He graduated from Murdock High School in Winchendon with the Class of 1965. Randall was a United States Navy Vietnam Era Veteran, serving from 1965 to 1971 and receiving the National Defense Medal and Vietnam Service Medal. While in the Navy, he became an accomplished boxer. He was always very proud of his time serving his country. Randall went on to work as a plant manager throughout the area in plastics and woodworking factories for many years until his retirement.

Randall was a parishioner of St. Martin's Catholic Church of Otter River and was a member and past president of the Templeton Lions Club. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and practicing his marksmanship. Randall was also a devoted fan of New England sports teams. Above all, his greatest joy was found in the time he spent with his family, treasuring every memory shared together.

Randall is survived by his son, Chuck Courtemanche and his wife Stacey of Lunenburg; two grandchildren, Chase and Addyson Courtemanche; a brother, Jeff Courtemanche and his wife Deborah of Connecticut; a brother-in-law, John Dickson; his niece Jill Courtemanche and his nephew Cole Courtemanche.

He was predeceased by his wife, Donna M. Courtemanche, who died on March 24, 2026; a sister, Marsha Lemieux; and a sister-in-law, Diane Dickson.
