Rachel C. Therrien
Rachel C. (Paradis) Therrien, 84, of Gardner, died peacefully Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, after an illness.
Born in Gardner on January 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Henrietta (Fontaine) Paradis. She graduated from Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School with the Class of 1953 and from Gardner High School with the Class of 1957. Rachel was a Human Resource Coordinator employed by Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner for 32-years and Tyco Safety Products of Westminster for 4-years prior to her retirement.
Rachel was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner, where she attended Mass every weekend. She loved going to the ocean, playing BINGO and cards, and traveling including taking trips to Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, and throughout the United States and Canada. Rachel excelled at knitting and crocheting. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her cat, Dolly, cherishing all the special moments they had together.
Rachel is survived by four nephews, George Gamache of Lake Helen, FL, Michael Kirouac of Worcester, Daniel Kirouac of Westminster and Steven Kirouac of Worcester; two nieces, Denise Thibodeau and Michelle Fox, both of Lake Helen, FL; eleven great-nieces and nephews; eleven great-great nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 23-years, Paul W. Therrien, who died in 1999; and three sisters, Gloria and Jeanita Kirouac and Georgette Gamache.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.
Calling Hours will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

JOHN GAMACHE Lake Helen Fl. My aunt Rachel only 8 year's my senior was like an older sister even though at 8 she dressed me up like a girl and had . Jeanita take our picture together.I still it. Rachel was always in my life to the very last and will always be I'll miss you greatly Rachel. till we meet again.

I was a neighbor of Rachel's and want to send My Deepest Condolences to Rachel's family. I will miss seeing Rachel taking her walks and sitting with the women and chatting. Rachel was the sweetest and I really enjoyed talking with her. She will be very missed❤️
