Philip A. "Phil" Brooks, 30, of 61 Lake Street, Gardner died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in his residence.
Phil was born in Gardner on March 30, 1980, the son of the late Rodney Brooks.
He received his GED in 2003. Phil was a member of Higher Ground Ministries in Gardner. He was also a member of Crystal House in Gardner.
Phil enjoyed spending time fishing and exercising.
Besides his mother, Tracy A. (Collette) Phelps and her husband Craig of Ashburnham, he leaves one brother, Matthew P. Brooks and his girlfriend, Sarah Dionne of Fitchburg; two sisters, Jenifer G. Brooks of Fitchburg and Veronica L. Phelps of Ashburnham; his maternal grandmother, Doris (Hebert) Collette of Gardner; his paternal grandmother, Theresa (Saari) Brooks of Templeton one step-brother, Craig A. Phelps II of Ashburnham; two nieces, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 17th at 10:00 a.m. in Higher Ground Ministries, 186 Central Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be Thursday, December 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crystal House, 55 Lake Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
