Peggy L. (Fontaine) Brennan, 68, of Ashburnham, died peacefully Sunday, November 11, 2018 in her home surrounded by family, following a long courageous battle with cancer.

                Born in Gardner on November 8, 1950, Peggy was the daughter of the late Leopold A. and Theresa C. (Powers) Fontaine.

                She graduated from Narragansett Regional High School of Baldwinville with the Class of 1969. Peggy was employed by Colonial Co-operative Bank as an Administrative Assistant for 30 years, retiring in 2016.

                Peggy enjoyed sewing, gardening, and she loved daisies. She also enjoyed camping, and playing horseshoes and darts. She was a strong supporter of her family during their time spent in the Rodeo. Peggy treasured spending time with her family and grandchildren whom she adored. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

                Peggy was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #747 of Gardner, the Beagle Club of Gardner, Deep Sea Club of Gardner and the Ashburnham Rod and Gun Club.

                She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, William F. Brennan, Jr, who died in 2008.

                Peggy leaves her son, Christopher B. Brennan and his wife Tracey of Ashburnham; daughter, Kelly A. Driscoll and her husband Timothy of Ashburnham; brothers, Lee R. Fontaine and his wife Donna of Templeton, Thomas A. Fontaine and his wife Carolyn of Phillipston, and Brian A. Fontaine and his wife Sheryl of Templeton; sister, Pamela M. Fontaine of Ashburnham; grandchildren, Brady and Bailey Brennan, and Jason and Cassidy Driscoll; aunts, Rita Niall and Lorraine Charland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

                Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 20th at 7:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.

                Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

                Memorial contributions may be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502. Please reference in memory of Peggy L. Brennan.
