Padapsy Khane

Padapsy (Warint) Khane, 80, of Gardner, died peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2024, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after a period of declining health.

Born in Salepum Roi-Et, Thailand, on March 4, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Khan and Pan Warint. After immigrating to the United States in 1980, she received her English language certification and settled in Superior, Wisconsin. Upon settling, she worked as a soldering technician prior to her move to the knitting mill until her retirement.

Padapsy enjoyed playing cards, taking trips to the casino, and dancing. She loved being outdoors, fishing, ice fishing, picnics, and working in her garden. Padapsy was an avid fan of her beloved Green Bay Packers and was proud of being able to attend a game. Her greatest joy was her family and friends, treasuring all the time spent with her grandchildren and reminiscing with her friends about the good old days.

Padapsy is survived by her husband of 63 years, William Khane of Gardner; three daughters, Douangchanh Boupha and her husband Boonmy, of Gardner, Joan Khane, of Gardner and Susan Khane, of Gardner; four sons, James Khane and his wife Mai, of Brooklyn Park, MN, Andy Khane, and his wife Homara, of Gardner, Paul Khane, and his wife Sherry of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Johnny Khane, of Boston; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one sister of Thailand; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by one granddaughter, one great-grandson, and four siblings.

Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, February 4. 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. A Cremation Prayer Service will follow at Rural Cemetery and Crematory, 180 Grove Street, Worcester, MA.

Burial at Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, PO Box 1120, Framingham, MA 01701. Please reference in memory of Padapsy Khane.
