Normand J. Richard

Normand J. Richard, 79, of Burlington, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully, Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in Masconomet Hospital in Topsfield, MA, after an illness.

Born in St. Antoine, New Brunswick, Canada, on December 9, 1940, he was the son of the late Joseph and Doris (LeBlanc) Richard. Normand was a manager employed by Hewlett-Packard/Agilent for 28-years until his retirement.

Normand was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was a member of the Acadien Social Club of Gardner and the French American Victory Club of Waltham. Normand frequently golfed at several area golf courses. But the time he loved and cherished the most was time spent with his family.

Normand is survived by his two sons, Maurice Richard of Framingham and Michael Richard of Nashua, NH; two daughters, Deborah Boucher and her husband Danny of Burlington, and Norma Mula and her husband John of Framingham; one brother, Gerard Richard of Gardner; seven sisters, Francine Boudreau and her husband Claude of Gardner, Ella Jones of Baldwinville, Bernice Legere and her husband Norman of Gardner, Rita Hache and her husband Ronnie of Gardner, Bernadette Nowlan and her husband Bernie of Gardner, Edith LeBlanc and her husband Leo of Leominster, and Yvette Fontaine and her husband Alison of Gardner; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew, Christina, Danielle, Virginia, Ryan, and Andrew.

He was predeceased by his wife of 57-years, Louise (LeBlanc) Richard who died in 2019; a son, John Richard; a brother Ovila Richard, and a sister Marie Perrault.

Funeral Services will be held at a later date.
