Nancy M. (Moschetti) Hawke went home to the Lord Saturday, March 5, 2022. Nancy was born in the Otter River section of Templeton to Anthony and Jeanette (Dupre) Moschetti. She moved to Gardner in 1952 and has resided there since that time. Nancy graduated from Gardner High School in 1956. She then went on to Mount Ida College in Newton and eventually took more courses and graduated from Mount Wachusett Community College.

Nancy met and married the love of her life, Robert D. Hawke, to whom she was married for 50 years at the time of his death in 2009. Together, Bob and Nancy raised five children, Linda, Cyndi, Heather, Dean, and Mark.

Nancy was active in her community as a volunteer at Red Cross blood drives, the Gardner Museum, South Gardner Historical Society, Knowlton Foundation, Golden Agers, local A.A.R.P and Friends of the Levi Heywood Memorial Library. Nancy was a member of the Winchendon Garden Club and was known for her lovely gardens. Besides planting her own garden, Nancy planted and maintained the flower garden at the Gardner Senior Center for several years.

Nancy was an artist and quilter. She belonged to the Greater Gardner Artist Association and Montachusett Quilt Guild. Her paintings and quilts will be enjoyed by her family for many years to come. Nancy spent time at the gym and with the Chair City Walkers. She participated in an annual 5k race put on by Fitness Concepts Gym and walked every Thursday with her friends in the walking group.

The First Baptist Church of South Gardner was a very important part of Nancy’s life as she served on various boards as well as, at one time, taught Sunday school.

Nancy felt very lucky to have her dream job as a realtor for many years with her mentor, Rick Morin.

Nancy will be sadly missed by daughters, Cyndi Leroy and her husband Tim, and Heather Dube and her husband Tom, sons, Dean Hawke and his wife Tammy, and Mark Hawke and his wife Shelly, grandchildren, Merissa Dube, Jacob Dube, Matthew Hawke and Justin Hawke, and great-granddaughter, Madison Dube. She will also be missed by her brothers Tony Moschetti and Greg Moschetti and his wife Connie.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Robert D. Hawke, a daughter, Linda (Hawke) Scotland, and a brother, Robert Moschetti.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
