Michelle M. (Alband) Floyd, 54, of Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday, January 28, 2020, in her residence.

Born in Boston on October 8, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Andrew W. and Judith A. (McIver) Alband. She was a graduate of Bromfield High School in Harvard with the Class of 1983.

She enjoyed fishing. Michelle loved to write and play games. She was a gifted musician and loved to play the guitar and keyboard. But the time she loved and cherished the most was time spent with Greg and Denise.

Michelle is survived by one son Gregory P. Floyd of Gardner; one brother Andrew J. Alband and his wife Darlene of Buckeye, Arizona; her life partner Denise Herthel of Gardner; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, 40 Heald St, Pepperell, MA, in the spring at the convenience of the family.

A Calling Hour will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to Salvation Army, 72 Cambridge Street, Worcester, MA 01603.

You were always more then a Mom to me, you were my best friend. You gave me so much and helped me in so many ways, that I can't even begin to form words to say or type. You meant the world to me. I will always love you more then you will know Mom. I'll always carry every memory and laugh and smile with me always.

I love you Michelle and will miss you, I am sorry I didn't get to see you more, but I remember some great memories when we were young and the FOUR MUSKATEERS- Jeff, Michael Me and you. REST IN PEACE and give my mom a hug.
