Michael D. Palmieri, 72, of 378 Plantation St., Worcester, and formerly of 69 Greenwood St., Gardner, died Tuesday, March 28th in University Commons, Worcester, following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on March 22, 1934, he was the son of Arcangelo and Rosa (Luri) Palmieri.
He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Gardner. Michael enjoyed bowling and music.
He leaves 2 brothers, John B. Palmieri and wife Beverly of Athol, Rocco A. Palmieri and wife Venerina of Leominster; 1 sister, Ada M. Dintino of Clinton; 21 nieces/nephews; 18 greatnieces/greatnephews; 3 great-greatnieces/great-greatnephews and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 1st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Saturday, April 1st from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
