Megan M. Whaley

Megan M. Whaley, 32, of Athol, died peacefully Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after an unexpected illness.

Born in Leominster on January 19, 1990, she was the daughter of Lisa L. (Ghilardi) Whaley and Donald T. Whaley. She graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School with the Class of 2008. After high school, she attended Mount Wachusett Community College, earning her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Megan was employed as a Dental Hygienist for Aspen Dental in Auburn, MA.

Megan's life was for her children, Ariana and Shane. She cherished the time she spent with them going to the beach, trips to the White Mountains, fishing and outdoor time at home.

Besides her children, Megan is survived by her mother and father, Lisa and Donald Whaley, her sister Katie and her husband Scott Piepiora and their three children, Kaden, Cooper, and Killian and her grandmother, Hester Whaley, a grandfather, Joseph Norvell; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will be private for her family. 

Calling Hours will be held Friday, October 14, 2022. from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
