Mary L. (Smith) Vautour, 68, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, November 24, 2017 in her residence.
Born in Fitchburg on December 28, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Miriam (Pajari) Smith.
Mary was employed by Harvard Cleaners of Leominster as a presser for several years, retiring in 2009.
She enjoyed vacationing in the White Mountains and Canada, camping, and spending time with her grandchildren, cats, and grand-dogs.
Mary leaves her husband of 44 years, Ivan J. Vautour, of Gardner; one son, Jeffrey I. Vautour and his wife Jenny of Athol; one daughter, Wendy M. Durkin and her husband Michael of Westford; three brothers, Butch Rivers and his wife Sharon of Gardner, Earl Anderson of Keene, NH and Phil Hill and his wife Maryellen of Rindge, NH; three sisters, Shirley Chow of Westminster, Dorothy Sands of Westminster and Millie Beauregard and her husband Richard of Gardner; three grandchildren, Jack, Kyle and Nicholas; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
