Mary F. Brochu

Mary F. Brochu, 86, of Westminster, died peacefully Saturday, October 14, 2023, in Alliance Health at Baldwinville, after an illness.

Born in Leominster on October 21, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Grace Macmillian. She graduated from St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School with the Class of 1952. Mary was a bookkeeper employed by D’Agostine Levine and Parra of Acton for many years before her retirement in 2018.  

Mary was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church of Westminster.

Mary is survived by her son David Brochu and his wife Karen of Westminster; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Kaitlyn; a great-grandchild, Olivia; a brother, Peter Macmillian of Clinton; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Roger Brochu, who died in 2017; and her sister, Claire Poirier.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023, Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 10 Church Street, Westminster, MA. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Calling Hours will be held Monday, October 23, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
