Marion R. Connors

Marion R. (Binnall) Connors, 91, of Baldwinville, died peacefully in her home Thursday, October 27, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Born in Gardner on April 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Savoie) Binnall. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1949 and the Henry Heywood Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Marion was a Registered Nurse employed by several places throughout her career, including Burbank Hospital, NCCI Gardner, the Templeton Developmental Center, and the Veterans Medical Van for many years prior to her retirement at the age of 80.

Marion was a member of the Chair City Walkers and walking and running—even enjoying competing in races throughout Worcester County until she was 80-years old. She always wanted to stay physically fit. She loved her job and always wanted to, even in retirement, stay up to date on everything going on in the medical field. Marion’s greatest pride was her family, to whom she was devoted.

Marion is survived by her son, Mark Connors of Baldwinville; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 67-years, Paul F. Connors, who died in 2019, and her siblings, Yvonne Greenwood and Dorothy Sylvestre, Raymond, James “Jimmy,” and Edward “Eddie” Binnall.

 Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
