Lorraine J Gallant

Lorraine J. (Collette) Gallant, 96, of Gardner, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2024, in Heywood Hospital after a brief illness. Prior to her hospitalization, she resided at Alliance Health of Baldwinville.

Born in Gardner on January 06, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Cormier) Collette. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1945. Lorraine was a secretary employed by Travers Printing for many years before her retirement.

Lorraine was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, practicing at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She was a member of the Ladies of Saint Anne Sodality. Lorraine enjoyed traveling and taking frequent trips to the beach.

 Lorraine is survived by her five daughters, Pattie Mitchell and her husband Jeff, of Westminster, Denise Gallant, of Belmont, NH, Janice Witman and her husband David, of Gardner, Karen Baams and her husband Ron, of Hazlehurst, GA, and Collette Costa and her Husband Rick, of Marco Island, FL; two sons, Thomas Gallant and his wife Rebecca, of Wells, ME, and James Gallant and his wife Nancy, of Cumming, GA; nine grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 8, 2024, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame, West Street, Gardner, MA.

 A calling hour will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Annunciation Parish, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Please reference in memory of Lorraine J. Gallant.
