Loreen E. (Tarmasewicz) Amadon, 67, of Gardner, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.
Born in Winchendon on July 18, 1958, she was the daughter of Katherine (Jerome) Tarmasewicz of Westminster and the late Paul Tarmasewicz. She was a proud graduate of Gardner High School, Class of 1977. Loreen dedicated many years of her career as an Office Manager for Collier Key-worth.
Loreen found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending her weekdays and weekends exploring flea markets and yard sales, and she enjoyed relaxing with her favorite television programs-especially Little House on the Prairie. Above all, Loreen cherished the time she spent with her family, and held a special place in her heart for her faithful companion, her cat, Shadow.
Besides her mother, Loreen is survived by a sister, Karen Kirkwood, of Westminster; a brother; Edward "Peewee" Tarmasewicz, of Westminster; two nieces, Kelly Cook and her husband, Timothy of Arizona, Tracy Gilman and her husband, Scot of Philipston; a nephew, Robert Kirkwood and his wife, Joyce of Arizona; several cousins, as well as many aunts and uncles, Darlene Babineau and her husband, Paul of Ashburnham, Diane Damien of Westminster, Judy Jerome of Florida, Jimmy Jerome and his wife, Joanne of Florida; a dear friend, Carol Meany of Gardner; and her loving cat, Shadow.
Besides her father, Loreen was predeceased in life by her beloved partner of ten years, Thomas Meany; and was also predeceased by brother-in-law, Robert Kirkwood.
Graveside Service to be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Wildwood Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, 01440.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ahimsa Haven 273 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475. Please reference in memory of Loreen E. (Tarmasewicz) Amadon.
