Loraine M. Laplante

Loraine M. (Duval) Laplante, 77, of Gardner, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in Heywood Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Winchendon on August 25, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Exilda (LeBlanc) Duval. Loraine was employed by Stop & Shop Supermarket as a cashier for several years until her retirement in 2009.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies 747 Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time on the computer, playing the piano and Bingo. She cherished time spent with her family.

Loraine was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Raymond H. Laplante who died in 2014.

She leaves two sons, Larry J. Laplante of Winchendon, and Carl J. Laplante and his significant other Kathy Ruth Jackson of Templeton; one daughter, Cynthia Boudreau of Gardner; one brother, Willie Duval of Tampa, Fl; one grandchild, Cory Butler; one great grandchild, William Butler; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
