Leonard M. Stone

Leonard M. “Uncle Lenny” Stone, 86, of Vermont, died peacefully Wednesday, October 30, 2019, after a brief illness.

Born in Templeton, MA, on January 7, 1934, he was the son of the late Stanley and Irene (Reed) Stone.

He had a passion for animals and loved working on the farm. Lenny was a very kind soul who was always smiling and laughing. He loved listening to country music and watching western movies. He loved visiting with family and friends and especially enjoyed visiting his brother, Foster.

Leonard leaves behind one brother Foster Stone of Gardner; three nieces Kathy Palmieri, Karen Arseneau, and Ellen Stone; several grand nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by two brothers Richard and Walter Stone; two sisters Violet Robinson and Barbara Mason.

Funeral Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to thank Patricia, Linda, Lenny, and Zoey for the loving care they gave him and many thanks to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospice, Lebanon, NH, for the excellent care he received.
