Leo A. Vincent, 66, a lifelong resident of the Gardner and Westminster area, passed away peacefully at Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a brief illness.

Born in Fitchburg on September 14, 1959, Leo was the loving son of Herman A. and Mary (Reilly) Vincent. He went through the Westminster school system, then went on to work for Montuori's in Fitchburg for many years-a role he took great pride in and truly enjoyed.

Leo had many passions that brought him joy throughout his life. He loved tractors and trucks and could often be found showing them off or taking leisurely drives along the backroads to visit friends. He appreciated the simple pleasures, especially stopping by Friendly's for one of his favorite treats-an ice cream sundae. Above all else, Leo cherished the time he spent with his family, holding close the memories they made together.

Leo is survived by his brother, Robert Vincent of Weare, NH; two sisters, Mary Minkwoski of Virginia Beach, VA and Janice Downey of Williston, VT and his nieces, Jennifer Savas and her spouse Paul of South Burlington, VT, Mary Woodruff and her spouse Jarad of Barrington, NH, and Catherine Walton and her spouse Darren of Germany; his nephews, Joseph Minkowski and his spouse Melissa of Virginia Beach, VA, Paul Minkowski of Virginia Beach, VA, and Dan Vincent of Washington, NH.

He was predeceased by his two brothers-in-law, Andrew Minkowski and John Downey.

Funeral services will be held and announced at a later date in the spring.
