Laurie A Hachey

Laurie A. (Gaudet) Hachey, 89, of Gardner, died peacefully Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner, surrounded by family, following a long illness.
Born in Three Rivers, Quebec, Canada on May 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Oselie (Landry) Gaudet.
Laurie was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
She enjoyed spending time cooking, traveling, crocheting and knitting. She also enjoyed watching Soap Operas and old time movies on television.
Laurie leaves her beloved husband of 70 years, Gerard J. Hachey of Gardner; one son, Louis N. Hachey and his wife Sandra of Lakeland, FL; two daughters, Geraldine Robichaud of Leominster and Janice P. George and her husband David of Yarmouth, MA; one sister, Stella Robinson and her husband Ronald of Winnipeg, Canada; six grandchildren, Jennifer Hachey, David George, Dustin Hachey, Odie Hachey, Clayton Hachey, Brianne Hachey; several great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Ernest Gaudet and Armand Gaudet; two sisters, Leona Babineau and Mary Arsenault; and by her grandson, William Robichaud who died in 2009.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 20th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner at a later date.
Calling hours will be held Friday, October 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452. Please reference in memory of Laurie Hachey.
