Lauretta M Maillet

Lauretta M. Maillet, 82, a lifelong resident of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Gardner on May 18, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Adolphe and Mary Blanche (LeBlanc) Maillet.
Lauretta was a healthcare worker employed by International Health Specialists of Fitchburg for several years. She was previously employed by Medical Resources of Fitchburg.
She was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Lauretta enjoyed drawing, painting and all artwork. She was a yard sale enthusiast, a passion she and her sister Helen shared.
She leaves three brothers, Albert J. "Joe" Maillet and his wife Helen of Gardner, Donald J. Maillet and his wife Patricia of Gardner, and Omer J. Maillet of Gardner; one sister, Helen M. "Tiffie" Maillet of Gardner; several nieces, nephews and cousins; one special great-nephew, Noah Maillet. Lauretta was predeceased by two brothers, Albanie Maillet and Abel Maillet; and by one sister, Cecile M. Tarmasewicz.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 20th at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to JDRF-Juvenile Diabetes, New England Chapter, 60 Walnut Street, Wellesley Hills, MA 02481. Please reference in memory of Lauretta M. Maillet.
