Lance R. Valcourt, 56, of Gardner, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 23, 2026, at his home.

Born in Gardner on April 22, 1969, Lance was the son of Margaret "Peggy" (Lehoux) Nash of Westminster and the late Leo Paul Valcourt.

Lance found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved being outdoors, walking around town, and striking up conversations with the many people he met along the way. Known for his friendly nature, Lance never met a stranger. Above all else, his family was his greatest joy and true treasure, and he cherished the many memories and laughter shared with them throughout the years.

Besides his mother, Lance is survived by his sister, Laurie Miller of Templeton; his brother, Travis Valcourt and his wife Christine of Vermont; aunts, uncles, June Hammonds of Gardner, William Lehoux and his wife Marilyn of Hubbardston and James Lehoux of Maine; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 684 Pearl Street, Gardner.
