Keven A. Kilbury, 42, of Baldwinville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
Born on June 24, 1983, in Boston, Massachusetts. Keven was a man of many talents and deep passions. He worked professionally as a Senior Financial Analyst with Seaman Paper, and previously Garlock Printing, where his dedication, intelligence, and work ethic earned him the respect of his colleagues and peers.
But it was on the soccer field where Keven truly came alive. A well-known and deeply loved figure in the local soccer community, Keven spent years shaping young athletes through his work as a coach. He served as a former Templeton Recreational Soccer Coach, Chair City Soccer Coach and Board of Director, Assistant Coach for FC Stars, and Head Coach for the Narragansett Girls Varsity Soccer Team.
For Keven, coaching was more than a job - it was a passion and a calling. He poured his heart into mentoring his players, and his legacy lives on in every athlete he inspired. He was also the proud founder and operator of Footy Kicks for Kids and the First Touch Soccer Development Academy, where he continued his mission of developing not just skilled players, but confident, well-rounded individuals.
Outside of his professional and coaching life, Keven was known as a hardworking and caring man. He took great pride in his home, especially in tending to his perfectly green lawn. He had a deep love for sporty cars, golfing, watching movies, and his three beloved dogs. With a natural gift for humor, he was often the comedian of the group-effortlessly bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him.
Yet above all else, Keven was a family man. His greatest pride and joy were his two daughters, and his wife to whom he devoted his life. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend - always ready to give the world and more to those he loved. As his brother Billy so perfectly said, "The proudest moment is when Keven became a father."
Keven's memory will be cherished forever by his family, friends, players, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Keven is survived by his beloved wife, Julie (Gove) Kilbury, of Baldwinville, with whom he shared a beautiful twenty-five years with; two daughters, Emily and Ashley Kilbury, both of Baldwinville; his mother Ann Chandler of Gardner; a brother, Billy Kilbury and his wife Melissa Harris of Gardner; aunt, Barbara Moran of Quincy; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his favorite chuties, Goose, Loki, and Leo.
He is predeceased by his father Kenneth Kilbury.
