Kenneth A. “Ken” MacLean, 72, of Gardner, formerly of W. Newton, died peacefully Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Cambridge on May 29, 1946, the son of the late Everett and Viola (Norcross) MacLean.
Ken was owner and operator of MacLean Trucking of Onset, MA for several years. He enjoyed fishing, lobstering and attending his sons’ softball games. He adored his corvette; and he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ken leaves his sons, Kevin MacLean and his wife Jennifer of Fitchburg, and Kenneth “Kenny” MacLean of Fitchburg; daughters, Sharon Garey and her husband Kevin of Baldwinville, and Susan Brouillet and her husband Jason of Otter River; brother, Robert MacLean of W. Newton; sister, Elaine MacLean; grandchildren, Dylan MacLean, Hunter MacLean, Deven Brouillet and Jillian Brouillet; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward MacLean.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Tuesday, March 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
