Kendra Erickson

Kendra T. Erickson, 45, of Gardner, died peacefully in Heywood Hospital on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Born in Leominster, on May 4, 1976, she was the daughter of Steven J. Erickson and Susan M. (Gray) Avery. She was a former member of the Massachusetts State Defense Force (MA State Guard). She enjoyed crossword and sudoku puzzles, coloring, the outdoors especially in the summer, taking her dog Murphy for walks, and feeling pretty. Kendra was generous, thoughtful, and deeply caring. She had room in her heart for everyone and made an impact on many people’s lives, which she truly enjoyed. She will be incredibly missed by all that knew her, especially her family. Besides her parents she leaves a daughter Rebecca Monique Sherwood and her husband Daniel McMahon of New Jersey; a son Lucas Wilson II and his significant other Yasaima Rios of Leominster; one brother Steven D. Erickson and his fiancée Tonia of Hubbardston; three sisters Lorre Erickson of Gardner, Karrie Hurley and her fiancée Robert Hedrick Jr. of Port Richey, Florida, and Melissa Coomer and her fiancée Paul Tuttle of Leominster; one grandson Mason Roberts; and several nieces and nephews: Vikki, Kevin, Alex, August, Travis, Andrew, Jonathan, Adam, Gavin, and Garrett; and many other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 5, 2021, at 3:30 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 5, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Please consider wearing something purple, with butterflies, or representative of summer, in Kendra's honor. Donations of flowers are welcome and appreciated.
