Keith Alan Reilly, 60, of Gardner, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 07, 2024, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester.

Born in Holden on September 19, 1963, he was the son of John and the late Nancy (Mnoholitny) Reilly. He graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1980,  earned his associate's degree from Greenfield College in 1982, and a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate.

Keith was a United States Marine Corps veteran based at Camp Lejeune. He was a Direct caregiver for the Fernald School and various state-run care homes until he retired after 33 years in the field.

Keith was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, ice fishing, and golfing. Keith was a sponge for knowledge, constantly reading and learning new things. He received several certificates to better his education and knowledge. Keith enjoyed playing cards and was an outstanding cribbage player.

He never hesitated to fix a car or clean out his furnace. He was always up for a challenge when it came to trying to fix or build anything around him. When it came down to it, he was always willing to lend a hand. He had a passion for cooking, so finding him in the kitchen whipping up a recipe he had just found wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

He helped coach wrestling at Gardner High School and GMS for a few years because he wrestled in his younger years. He could even be seen on the field coaching soccer. He truly just enjoyed sports. If he wasn't coaching, he was watching the Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

Keith is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary-Jane (Fleurant) Reilly of Gardner; his son, Peter Reilly of Gardner; two daughters, Jessica Mosso of Athol and Heather Pleasant and her husband, Wesley, of Houston, Texas; his father John and Step-mother Ruth Ann Reilly of NH; three grandchildren Jasper, Zoeylyn and Zenovia; two step-brothers, Christopher and Michael Rollston of NH; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Mnoholitny, in 2013 and brother, Kirt Reilly, in 2014.
