Obituary

John J. Fronte, 71, of Gardner, died unexpectedly Monday, October 26, 2026, in his home.

Born in Boston on August 20, 1955, he was the son of the late John and Theresa (Puppelo) Fronte. John was a self-employed carpenter for many years until his retirement.

John was an avid movie enthusiast who took great pride in his extensive collection of films, ranging from timeless classics to modern-day favorites across all genres. He also had a deep appreciation for music, especially the legendary rock band AC/DC. John enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the outdoors, particularly when spending time fishing and appreciating the beauty of nature. Above all, his greatest love was for his family, especially his children and grandchildren, treasuring the countless memories made, laughter shared, and special moments spent together throughout the years.

John is survived by his two sons, Mike Fronte and his wife Carrie of Gardner, and Matt Fronte and his wife Brittany of Gardner; five grandchildren, Kaylee, Logan, Aliviah, Natalee, and Brayden Fronte; brother, Michael Fronte and his wife Dawn of Leominster; sister, Maryanne Bogdanoff of Lowell; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Citro.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
