Jeannine A Mailloux

Jeannine A. (Girouard) Mailloux, 88, of Baldwinville, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, September 14, 2019 in Alliance Health at Baldwinville, surrounded by her family.

                Born in Gardner on August 19, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George “Jerry” and Yvonne (Charland) Girouard. Jeannine graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1949 and attended Mount Wachusett Community College of Gardner. She was employed by Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner as the Corporate Payroll Manager for 27 years, retiring in 1994.

                Jeannine was a member of Holy Spirit Church of Gardner. She enjoyed playing cards, candlepin bowling and Bingo. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots; and her favorite television shows were Dateline and 20/20. She and her husband Roland enjoyed long car rides on country roads and the challenge of finding their way back home. Jeannine treasured spending time with her family, and she loved attending her grandchildren’s events.

                She leaves her husband of 67 years, Roland D. Mailloux, Sr. of Baldwinville; sons, Roland D. “Landy” Mailloux, Jr. (Joanne) of Gardner, Raymond A. Mailloux (Maria “Lilett”) of Athol, and Donald R. Mailloux of Sterling; daughters, Michele C. McMahon (Gary) of Harwich, Phyllis M. Kemp (Michael) of Gardner, and Jeanne A. Tencati (Dennis) of Gardner; brother, Donald R. Girouard (Mary) of Gardner; grandchildren, Lori Phinney, Gregory Mailloux, Stephan McMahon, Scott McMahon, Heather Edouard, Trisha Dursa, Elizabeth Goldstein, David Kemp, Aaron Butler and Evan Butler; seventeen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandson; and three great-grandchildren.

                Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 19th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.

                Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 18th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
