Janice B. (Morse) Baker, 79, of Leominster, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Gardner on January 15, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Barbara J. (Hill) Morse. Janice graduated from Oakmont High School with the Class of 1965. She concluded her working career with Making Opportunity Count, where she was employed as a bus monitor for three years prior to her retirement. Previously, she worked as a bank teller with Colonial Cooperative Bank for 15 years, a dispatcher for a limousine service in Westminster for 10 years, and a cafeteria worker at Gardner High School for 10 years. Through her many years of service and friendly nature, Janice became well known and well loved throughout the community.

Janice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald Baker, who died in 2011.

A devoted member of The Salvation Army, Janice found joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo, traveling, knitting, and reading. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, creating memories that will be treasured by those who knew and loved her.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Tammy Lynn Hansen and her significant other Matthew Hanna, of Leominster; her grandson, Connor Hansen and his wife, Amy, of Oxford; her brother, James Morse of Orange; her sister-in-law Sharon Morse of Myrtle Beach, SC., several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and dearest friends that she grew up with Ray and Elaine Hebert.

Besides her parents and her husband, Janice was predeceased by her brother, Ronald Morse.

Janice will be interred at the convenience of the family in New Cemetery, Old Nims Road, Ashburnham, MA
