I just heard of Heidi's passing today. I am so very sorry for her family.
Heidi always was so positive throughout her lifetime of physical problems. When she attended Bay State College she was a very trusted student of mine who excelled at everything. Her education was important to her. I remember how excited she was as the Walt Disney world interviews approached. She was in my office several times a day with questions about the interview process. I remember that I told the Disney interviewers that morning that I highly recommended her. After the interviews, they told me she was perfect for a Disney cast member position. Of course, I couldn't tell Heidi that she was being hired so it was a very long, nervous 2 weeks before she got her letter. I was able to visit Heidi a number of times while she worked there and even in the hospital after one if her surgeries in Orlando. Her enthusiasm was contagious and I was proud to call her my friend throughout the years.
The world has lost a special person but I'll always remember her with her shining smile and mouse ears on top.
My sympathy to her family.

Heidi, you are the bravest most loving person I've ever met. Always wanting to help others. Taking care of you for the past year, we became close friends and you will always have a special place in my heart. Although I still grieve, your suffering is over and I know you're in heaven with your mom. I love you and miss you, but I know one day we will see each other again.
