Obituary

Gloria "Nanni" T. (Lanteigne) Duguay, 93, of Baldwinville, died peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, May 7, 2026, in Alliance Health at Baldwinville, after a period of declining health.

Born in Athol on April 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Nazaire J. and Alphonsine (Jean) Lanteigne. A 1951 graduate of Athol High School, where she was a member of the cheerleading team, Gloria went on to earn her certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Gardner State Hospital and the Heywood Hospital School of Nursing in 1958. She worked for many years as an LPN in home health care and hospice until her retirement and was previously employed by both Heywood Hospital and Gardner State Hospital.

Gloria was a member of the Scuba Club of Gardner. She loved playing darts and traveling, visiting many places throughout the world, though Wells, Maine, always remained one of her favorite destinations. Above all, Gloria treasured time spent with her family and friends, cherishing the many gatherings, laughs shared, and memories created together.

Gloria is survived by her two daughters, Terri-Ann (Duguay) Hall and her husband David of Ashby, and Linda J. (Duguay) Ramsdell of Baldwinville; two sons, Bruce R. Duguay and his wife Debbie (LeClerc) Duguay of Templeton, and Kurt A. Duguay and his wife Donna (Croteau) Duguay of Arizona; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; a special niece, Susan Fisher; several nieces, nephews, and additional cousins; and her best friend, Diane Springer.

She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Raymond, Ned and Freeman Lanteigne; a sister, Edith Rhondeau; a son-in-law, Thomas Ramsdell; and her former husbands, Raymond Duguay and John Bahan.

Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Funeral Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Bridge Street, Baldwinville, MA.
