Gisele M. (Lavertue) Wilson, 65, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, December 20, 2019, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after a long illness.

Born in Madawaska, Maine, on January 15, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Adrien and Bernadette (Corriveau) Lavertue. She was a graduate of the New Britain High School, New Britain, CT, with the Class of 1970.

Gisele was a member of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She was a homemaker who loved and cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also was a gifted cook and knitter.

She leaves her husband Vern Wilson Jr. of Gardner; one daughter Michelle Fayad of Hopedale, MA; one son Robert Botschafter of Gardner, ten grandchildren Elias, Nadia, Nicholas, Isabella and Samuel Fayad, Robert, Keith, Madison, and Layla Botschafter, and Kylie Duteau; one great-granddaughter Isabella Botschafter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by one son Steven Botschafter; three brothers Alan, Ray, and Roger Lavertue; three sisters Cecile Bouchard, Connie Jalbert, and Jeannine Lavertue.

A Graveside Service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, at a later date.
