Francisco Emilio Gonzalez, 80, of Leominster, died peacefully Sunday, October 08, 2023, in his daughter’s home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Casa Paterna, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on March 9, 1943, he was the son of the late Coronel Emilio Gonzalez and Maria Antonia Read. He was previously employed as a precision bolt fabricator in America, and was an auto mechanic and body shop owner in the Dominican Republic.
Francisco was a Loyal Member of New Life Spanish Christian Church, Fitchburg Ma. He would dabble in political debates with his family and Friends. Francisco enjoyed watching the news and keeping up on the world’s history and current events. He loved to tell his family stories of his country and would often tell a great joke to make the family laugh. Francisco was a very Charismatic person who loved to help others in any way possible. Francisco was the best cook in his house and loved cooking for his beloved family. They were his passion, especially his grandchildren.
Francisco is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Altagracia Maira Gonzalez, of Leominster MA; two sons Emilio Gonzalez and his spouse, and Kristian Gonzalez, and his fiance; five daughters, Massiel Baez, and her spouse, Ariam Pascual-Gonzalez, and her spouse, Emeli Luna and her spouse, Katuska Gonzalez and Yillanka Gonzalez; his ten grandchildren; his siblings, Romon Gonzalez, Anamaria Gonzalez and Ivon Gonzalez.
He was predeceased by his brother, Mario Gonzalez.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will be private.
Calling Hours will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Nacido en Casa Paterna, Santo Domingo, República Dominicana el 9 de marzo de 1943, era hijo del fallecido Coronel Emilio González y María Antonia Read De Gonzalez. Anteriormente trabajó como fabricante de tornillos de precisión en Estados Unidos y fue mecánico de automóviles y propietario de un taller de carrocería en la República Dominicana.
Francisco era miembro leal de la Iglesia Cristiana Hispana Nueva Vida, Fitchburg Ma. Incursionaba en debates políticos con su familia y amigos. Francisco disfrutaba ver las noticias y se mantenía al tanto de la historia del mundo y los acontecimientos actuales. Le encantaba contarle a su familia historias de su país y a menudo, contaba un gran chiste para hacer reír a la familia. Francisco era un hombre muy servicial y le gustaba ayudar a los demás. Francisco era el mejor cocinero de su casa y cocinaba para su amada familia. Eran su pasión, especialmente sus nietos.
A Francisco le sobreviven su amada esposa durante 41 años, Altagracia Maira González, de Leominster, MA; dos hijos Emilio González y su esposa, y Kristian González y su prometido; cinco hijas, Massiel Báez, y su esposa, Ariam Pascual-González, y su esposa, Emeli Luna y su esposa, Katuska González y Yillanka González; sus diez nietos; sus hermanos, Romón González, Anamaría González e Ivón González.
Falleció antes que su hermano, Mario González.
Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el jueves 12 de octubre de 2023 a las 6:00 p.m. en Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. El entierro será privado.
